Experience
14 years experience working for the charity CXK delivering emotional wellbeing support and counselling to young people and adults, within schools, colleges and the community across Kent. I have since left the charity in April 2021.
Until December 2019 I was the Senior Counsellor for CXK, coordinating the CXK Schools Counselling Service and line managing counselling staff, with designated safeguarding lead responsibilities. I relinquished this role to become an associate counsellor for the charity, offering me more flexibility to pursue private practice.
CXK is a charity that inspires young people and their families to thrive by developing their skills, raising aspirations and maximising their potential.
Schools and colleges I have worked within include:
Bennett Memorial Diocesan School, Tunbridge Wells
Brockhill Park Performing Arts College, Hythe
Chaucer Technology School, Canterbury
East Kent College, Dover and Folkestone
Herne Bay High School, Herne Bay
Maidstone Grammar School, Maidstone
Maidstone Girls Grammar School, Maidstone
St Gregory's Catholic School, Tunbridge Wells
St Simon Stock, Maidstone
Tonbridge Grammar School, Tonbridge
The Westlands School, Sittingbourne
West Kent YMCA Horizon Project, Tunbridge Wells
