Counselling is a universal option that gives space for collaborative exploration, validation, problem solving and action planning. EMDR combines elements of standard counselling, whilst following a more structured approach, whereby we activate your brain's own self-healing system, for rapid change. Therefore if you are looking for results in a shorter number of sessions, then this might be best suited for you.
Wingwave fuses together talking therapy and EMDR with the addition of the Myostatic Muscle test, which helps us to detect unconscious areas of stress, that may be fuelling present day dysfunction. Wingwave is another rapid technique and is particularly helpful when we do not consciously know what's holding us back and where we have clear goals for the future.

Supporting Young People
I specialise in working with young people aged 11 and above. Young people not only experience a unique range of stressors but their development also plays a key role in their mental health. I have extensive experience working with young people in schools, the community and privately. I continue to work in a local school supporting 6th form students and allocate 90% of sessions to young people in private practice.
