How can Rewind Therapy help me?
Rewind Therapy is a rapid technique used to treat trauma. It addresses traumatic recall, (intrusive thoughts, nightmares and flashbacks), rather than other symptoms of trauma. The Rewind Technique has a 90% success rate, reducing any long lasting psychological impact of an event.
What happens in a Rewind Therapy session?
In a Rewind Therapy session I will not ask you to share any detail of your traumatic event. I will guide you through a visualisation technique, whereby you imagine watching your memory (or memories if multiple traumas) as if it were being played on a cinema screen. Once the memory has finished playing, I will ask you to imagine stepping into the screen and rewinding the memory to the beginning, back to a good starting point.
