As a member of the BPS Directory of Voluntary Careers Speakers, I go into schools to deliver free talks on psychology and counselling to secondary age students.

Careers Talk, Valley Park School

On Wednesday 31st September I was pleased to return to Valley Park to deliver psychology careers talks to year 10 & 13 students, as part of the British Psychological Society’s Directory of Voluntary Careers Speakers. Things were a little different this time with social distancing measures in place but I again had an enjoyable morning with the students. Thank you again to Miss Adkins for arranging my visit and to the students for letting me hijack your psychology lessons.

Careers Talk, Valley Park School
On Friday 24th January I was invited to talk to Year 10 and 13 students at Valley Park School in Maidstone about my career in psychology and counselling. Both groups were a pleasure to talk to with some fabulous questions. As a first time visitor, I was so impressed by this school. Thank you to Ms Adkins for arranging the morning (and the chocolates) and all the students I met with for making me feel so welcome.
